Meadow Girl, France

Pictures of my daughter taken this summer in the meadow. I love how the meadow looks slightly different each year.

Before hay cutting, the grass is long and strewn with wildflowers. Since artificial fertilizer isn't used, the flowers grow tall and in abundance. There are many bugs to show for it! Some years, the hay has already been cut and the cylindrical bales are typically French. Before being put in bales, the meadow is cut short to the ground, the grass thick, scratchy, and often bleached by the sun.

In all scenarios & seasons, the meadow has been a popular spot for family portraits in summer. Floaty cotton dresses bought from the nearby market and the old straw hat also create the perfect summer wardrobe.

Of course the mini family photoshoots are fun & relaxed. As the sun sets so late in the summer months, we try a bit earlier before we are too sleepy (and tipsy!) to mind...

I am still in the UK visiting family but can't wait to get back to Dublin & catch up with my family & lifestyle shoots over there. I have developed a set of three new packages. Includes photoshoots & beautifully edited digitals called Express, Standard & Premium. All packages include a link to fine art printers that do a wonderful job printing on museum quality mat or gloss

I have a couple of baby shoots & Holy Communion family portraits coming up soon with lovely Autumn backdrops

Bye for now & have a lovely week
