Dublin Beach Photo Session with Cara.

Hi, I'm Cara - a Dublin family photographer. You can often find me around Blackrock, Seapoint, Dunlaoghaire and Dalkey village, Booterstown, Ballsbridge, Stillorgan and Dundrum - and of course, the South Dublin coast. But I travel all over Dublin and beyond!

As well as families, children and babies, I also love to photograph couples, teenagers and young adults for graduation, birthdays, debs, all kinds of celebrations - or just because!

I love the pastel mood of this lifestyle photo shoot. A floaty summer dress is a classic for a beach photo session.

I always give wardrobe tips for my family sessions. The colours of nature - blue, green, brown and neutrals such as white and black are perfect for outdoor on location shoots around Dublin. Earthy colours work very well in a natural setting also. Summer beach sessions also look great with coordinating pastel colours to go with the blue of sea and sky.

Seapoint near Monkstown is a great location for a beach session along with The Forty Foot, Sandycove and Dunlaoghaire Pier.

The beach at Seapoint changes with the time of year and the light during the day - if possible, the best time is in the morning or later in the afternoon, avoiding the sun at its highest point (midday). However, I have shot at all times in the day.
