Hi, I'm Cara, a small wedding and award winning family photographer based in Dublin, Ireland.
I capture weddings in a storytelling way, with emotional authenticity, sensitivity, humour, and sometimes, even a little quirkiness. I also notice the natural scene setting as a backdrop to all the emotional action - flowers, half full champagne flutes, discarded ribbons or a wall hung with paintings. The cinematic details that add to the atmosphere of your "big day". When you see your wedding gallery I want you to experience the lived love and theatre of your wedding day, all over again.

From wedding cake cutting to dancing into the small hours in trainers, I know that no two weddings are the same!
Small and micro weddings can have all the luxe of a big wedding, just...smaller. However, I also capture medium-sized, let's say, weddings as well.
My wedding pictures tend to have a cinematic, vintage quality that feels a lot like film. I love to pair editorial wedding portraits with documentary style moments.
Alongside the atmosphere of a gorgeous wedding, As well as all the excitement, I'll be looking out for quiet moments of connection !
Photographing couples, surprise proposals and families makes me hyper aware of moments that you can't plan for. I'm drawn to people, families, children, babies interacting naturally with each other - and spreading the love.

About Cara
I am married to an Irish man, have two beautiful older kids, a cat called Zara, and a Frenchie called Tony.
I spent a good few years in London and New York, and several more in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E, before moving to Dublin - which I love.
Travel has made me open to new experiences and appreciative of the green green grass of home. Home is England and Ireland.

Micro Weddings At Beautiful Dublin Locations.
You can often find me on family and couples sessions in Booterstown, Blackrock, Stillorgan, Dundrum, Ballsbridge, Monkstown, Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey Village - but I travel all over Dublin, and Ireland.
Beautiful, thoughtful places can bring your wedding to life with architectural details, interesting interiors and pretty light.
I am definitely open to unusual requests and adventures, though - so whether you want to be married in a fairytale Irish castle , or a sheep farm, I'll be there

How long do you shoot for?
My wedding photography packages typically start from 2.5 hours for the mini session and an 8-hour full day session. You’ll receive all the best edited photos from our time together. I prioritise quality over quantity, but if a photo adds to the story, I will add it into the gallery!
What parts of the wedding do you photograph?
I capture all the key moments of your day, from the scene-setting little details and preparations - to getting ready and to the ceremony along with all the emotions! I'll document portraits of the bride and groom, as well as the reception and evening celebrations.
What is your wedding photography style?
My style is a blend of real life documentary storytelling and wedding portraits of bride and groom, and of course, family and friends. I'm ready to rush over to anything that's happening that will make a good photo. Eyes at the back of my head are great for weddings! As a family and baby photographer, I love to make sure guests of all ages are captured as honestly as possible and don't get me started on kids left to their own devices! While I don’t specialize in very formal group shots with very large lineups, I will create traditional group portraits.
I love seeking out beautiful light and gorgeous backdrops to create timeless, romantic couple portraits during your wedding day.

Setting off from the Merrion Hotel, with a ceremony at No. 5 South Leinster Street, followed by a tour of the National Gallery of Ireland for bride and groom portraits, and then off to the Gingerman Pub for a pint of Guinness. Or, ceremony at Dublin Maritime Museum, followed by couples' wedding portraits on Dun Laoghaire Pier.
