In the Frame! Summer 2020

Updated: Jan 15

I am still in France with 10 days or so before I return to Dublin.

My "In The Frame" child portrait series starts with this one. I love an emotive child portrait, particularly in timeless black & white!

The other day I did a mini family photography session in the garden (aka snapped a few pictures in under 10 mins) of my son and an antique frame.

He had fun framing himself!

Props can be a great starting point to a storytelling child portrait

Props can add a little helping hand. A gentle push in the right direction, something a child can engage with in a unique way.

We had a bit of fun. I will have to go through the best ones in Dublin

Mood. Storytelling. Gesture and expression. These are all aspects to be considered in a child & family portrait.

I love black & white photography for its ability to show emotion in a picture.

I'll be back in Dublin in a couple of weeks so please contact me for more info on family photography sessions.

My Dublin family photography sessions include long sessions, and mini session.

For family portraits, engagement, maternity, newborn.
