Hi, I'm Cara, a natural Dublin maternity, baby and newborn photographer.
Maternity photo sessions are a celebration of love, pregnancy - and bringing new life into the world. I love to create timeless, heartfelt images with a hint of nostalgia that you and your baby will cherish over the years. Maternity photos can be dressy or as relaxed as you like. If you have other children, we will celebrate them also!
You can often find me around Blackrock, Booterstown, Stillorgan, Dundrum, Ballsbridge, Monkstown, Dunlaoghaire, Glasthule and Dalkey Village - but I travel all over Dublin.

Natural Light Maternity
All my maternity sessions are done in natural light - outdoors in a location you love, or in your own home and garden.
Wear Something You Love!
Highlighting your pregnancy form is part of what makes for beautiful maternity portraits!
I give wardrobe tips for all my sessions. The colours of nature - blue, green, brown - can work well outdoors, reflecting the landscape around you. Earth tones are also beautiful for pregnancy - brown, rust, copper. Bright colours can also be beautiful - such as pops of red or pink across a family, so the eye is drawn to everyone equally, particularly if there are other children on your session. After all, pregnancy is a time of celebration!
Creating Timeless Maternity Sessions
My maternity photo shoots include traditional portraits as well as natural, documentary photos that focus on natural interactions and expressions. I may direct you towards some pretty light or a lovely backdrop and then encourage you to interact naturally and have fun.
My galleries are edited with soft, warm colour tones and black & white for a timeless, vintage inspired feel.
Dublin is full of beautiful locations for maternity sessions. Some recent sessions have been at The Forty Foot near Sandycove Beach and Malahide Castle gardens
