Baby's first birthday was celebrated near Bushy park, Dublin
Parks around Dublin make the perfect place to celebrate a more unstructured birthday party.This was a relaxed birthday session with mum, dad & two baby boys taking a stroll around their favorite park with a stop for play in the playground
The pictures were taken around a playground which meant the children could have fun, and forget about being photographed! This was an activity they enjoyed most days so it was relaxing & enjoyable
I loved the two boys' striped jumpers. The colors really added to the joy of this baby's first birthday photography session. Also the bright red balloons!
Mum & dad even got into the swing in the playground!
Midday sun often means I have to look for sheltered spots in the park, however this morning had soft mellow light. Perfect for on location family portraits.
I love a mixture of classic child portraits as well as more spontaneous"in between" family moments. Those are moments you can't plan for. They just happen!
Moments of natural connection.
Baby boy playing with the leaves on the ground of the park. Or with a red balloon tied to his pram. Or, simply giving mum or dad a big hug out of the blue! Plenty of time to explore the swings & the slide and go through the playground tunnels.
