More Stourhead, England...

It's been a busy week. I've finished up some Dublin photoshoots. A UCD graduation recently, here in University College Dublin, and a family shoot in nearby Carysfort Park Blackrock, with a very sweet 4 month old baby and a gorgeous white fluffy dog. And squeezed in between these tasks, has been upgrading the photoshoots section of my website. And blogging. Apparently Google wants 300 words for every blog post, sprinkled with precious keywords, and 11 blog posts a month is the apparent "sweet spot" for SEO. Well, I am way behind that. But finally I have a blogpost with more then one picture. Hurrah! That's something. This Stourhead outing with my nieces and nephews bring back wonderful memories of childhood unplugged, at its very best and most splendid. Children exploring the beautiful grounds together, connecting with old and new trees. Climbing trees. Playing in their boughs. Children dressed up in fancy dress costumes, just for gigs. The girls had Ariel Mermaid dresses complete with orange wigs that were discarded at some point as they got so tangled! Just children being children in a beautiful idyllic park. At the moment, too, Dublin parks are particularly beautiful. Flush with autumn colours. The trees around my neighbourhood in Blackrock are glorious with yellow, orange, and red leaves. A real tapestry of vibrant colour. Perfect for family & child photoshoots. The other day I did a family photoshoot with a newborn baby and a fluffy white dog at the Michael Smurfit business park just off Carysfort and Avoca Avenue here in Blackrock. There is a corner of the Smurfit park that, sort of like Stourhead, looks like a perfect natural garden with the most beautiful trees, including sculptured ornamentals sprinkled admit the taller classic trees.. It is the perfect outdoor studio for family photography. I'm loving exploring the different opportunities for light and framing. There were plenty of ways to frame a portrait between the forms of trees and plants. The trees come in a variety of colours too, adding a different tonal mood to the frame, from fiery red, deep burgundy, and silvery leaved canopies. (Wow, Google! your SEO requirements do require me to talk an awful lot about what is essentially such a simple concept. Are you still with me? If so, leave me a comment as I'd love to know...). Beautiful outdoor location photography in parks around Dublin. Gorgeous natural light. That's all you need for a memorable family & lifestyle photoshoot! Check out my variety of packages, starting from one hour. For more information send me a form here on the Contact section of my website. I'm doing a 10 percent discount for an Autumn family shoot to capture the vibrant colours of the season with your family! Cara xo
